I had taken a wide field image of IC410 some time ago and liked the structure in the central portion so I imaged that last night.

AP155/7, ST-10 and Astrodon 6nm H-alpha filter.

Comments and criticism welcome - Cal

Cal,
This is a KILLER! image. Can you give me some detail on the exposure times? I have got to try this one someday!

Good timing. It looks like you caught the ovum just before conception.

Thanks everybody for your kind comments. I enjoy H-alpha imaging and it's fun to show them.

Mike Sirois ran my shot through NeatImage. It definitely brings out the structure. Particularly the two, uhh, hmmm, well "haploid" structures that seem to dominate the image smile smile

What do you think?

Very nice image. Here's mine from a couple of months ago with a similar setup.

I think the original image is most natural.

Really nice image. Perfectly framed. Having looked at all three versions, I think this one is the most pleasing, smoothest one. Great job.
