Here is my version of M27 with hours of H-alpha data. I've been wanting to get this done for quite some time.

Let me know what you think.

Beautiful work Tom! 8O The extended areas are nicely done, especially for an area that has such limited signal to begin with. How hard did you need to work to bring out those areas? Was there enough signal to bring it out easily with overall curves or did you handle the extended areas seperately during processing?

I would really like to go for a deeper version of this object, but I need to get away from Orem and try it from a dark sky site. My skies are just too light polluted. Sweet job on this image and congrats on getting the most from that new scope!
Cheers,
Tyler

I went back and reprocessed the image. This is what I came up with: the center a little more teal, the background a little darker, and more detail in the center. It's subtle to say the least!!
