Here is the other image from last night. This is the one that I spent all evening on. I was inspired by Cal's recent version of this, and thought I would try it out for myself. Here is the result.

Cheers,
Tyler

Hi Tyler,

Nice image of M78. It's histogram is a little too blue-green from a light pollution gradient.

Rush Valley -- well I'll be. I used to hunt jack rabbits there with my Grandpa! The way Utah Valley is growing there will be a Wal-Mart in Rush Valley soon!!

Here's my M78: http://www.tvdavisastropics.com/astroimages-1_000022.htm

Keep up the good imaging,

Ty,

That is a nice capture, but the color balance is off too much to the blue-green. This should have a lot of browns and even some reds in there. Apart from that, great framing, guiding, etc.
