NGC1555

Hi Group,

I was able to shoot over the last few night from here in Idaho due to the large
high pressure system sitting over head. This is quite rare for Idaho. However, even though
the sky was clear (and temps not to cold) the nearby ski area (1.5 miles up hill from my
house) was doing night skiing; the whole mountain was lit up. Never the less, I decided to image
NGC1555 in Taurus. It think it turned out pretty well considering the conditions. It
becomes part of my vdB and dusty nebulae collections.

Hi Tom,

You've got the Midas touch for the vdB reflection nebulae. Another winner to add to the list.

I also like your dual scope approach (a la Rob Gendler). It is something which has crossed my mind as well and is a great means to getting many hours of data over a single evening.

Keep'em coming.

Anthony.

Another ghostly masterpiece for your collection Tom.

I'll trade you my auto mall for your ski area!

I think it turned out great no matter what your conditions were. We also have one of those night ski areas nearby, but fortunately they are not open all night long.
