The BUB

Hi all. This is my final version (yeah right!) of my recent Bubble Nebula shot. It shows the Bubble, M52, and a dim but interesting planetary nebula (lower middle). I really struggled with the processing on this one, but I am now pretty happy with it. I wanted to post a smaller version, but I didn't like what reduction did to the stars, so you get the big version instead. Let me know what you think.

Hello there Tyler.
I knew for the start that this was going to be a good one!

I like the large version.

Tyler,

Gorgeous wide field of this subject, with really nice stars and color!

Bravo!

Tyler,

Beautiful! I didn't realize the the Bubble and M52 were so close. When the moon gets out of the sky I wanna try these objects.

I'm glad you posted the big version, Tyler! I like it a lot! You processed it very well! You even managed to tame the halo around that bright star next to the bubble. Good job!

Tyler,
Stunning image! What are details....exposures, equipment used et al? This gives me something to shoot for, though I doubt I'll achieve anything so nice any time soon.

It looks awesome and your processing looks terrific!
Well worthy of a "final version" status grin
