Hi All

This is a shot of M1 I took from my trip to Coonabararan last weekend.
I shot this one with a SXV-H9C CCD through the ZS110/.8 reducer guided with the ZS 66SD on a G11 mount.
Exposure time was 10 minutes x 12 and I used AA3 to capture align & combine and post processing done in CS2.
There is no doubt in my mind that this is an object longing for a higher resolution instrument.
Anyway I hope you all enjoy It and of cause all advice is always welcome !
For those who are interested in a larger image you will find It at www.atalas.net in gallery's most recent folder and nebulas folder.
Thanks for looking.

Nice shot, especially for such a small object with that focal length.

Looks great Louie.You captured some good detail in the tendrils.
I have shot this before and would say it is a hard object to get fine detail out of with our small scopes!

Nice shot.

Here is my first attempt at LRGB on the Crab. The seeing was really bad so it was difficult to focus and the stars are pretty "fat".

L=60m RGB=20m (4m subs) combined in AA-2
HX-916 CCD 8" SCT @ f5 CI-700 mount

In desperate need of clear skies in Texas......
