Hi all,

Another mosaic from 14th October with the good seeing. I particularly like the unnamed crater lurking in the shadows to the left of Clavius beween Deluc and Zac, like the gaping maw of some primeval pirahna!

3 frame mosaic, 900/5000 frames, MAP: 12x 128 (centre section 45x 64)

Guess what's next... wink

Regards,
Stefan

Stefan

Wow and other beautiful image with great tonal range. The 14th was a special night, you must have known looking at the images on your screen while capturing. The weather in New England has made even visual observing a rare activity.

Thanks for sharing

A wonderful presentation of Clavius centered in a slice of southern highlands.
Your recent lunar images have been exceptional - looking forward to more!
