Here is a Mosaic took when I was at New Mexico Skies, and just got around to putting it together and processing it. Each pic is 10-5min exposures at ISO800 using a canon 10D. This is less than 50% size.

I can see how large multiple frame mosaics can be difficult, but fun.

Very cool. Any more color saturation available? The Lagoon is nice an rich, but the Trifid, which is dimmer, is a little pale.

I guess that digital cameras have arrived if I am crtiquing the fine points, eh?

Congratulations, Mark!

I have not forgotten our project to do a cooperative Mosaic on the Scorpius area, but the weather is quite bad here and my lower southern sky is very light polluted, I did not get anything reasonable from my observatory site (46.5° north) until now from there. Have to go to a dark site, when the weather is more stable.
