Seeing was very good this morning in cental Ohio. I was unable to get a lot of image scale with my old camcorder now that Saturn's rings are closing up. Not enough light.

Hi Steve -

A very nice sharp saturn.

Saturn does not offer a lot of light and it is very demanding of the seeing conditions too. It can help to use a B&W camera for luminance.

Thanks for posting -

Hi Steve,

Excellent! image, in one of your replies you said this would be the last Saturn image you would take with your camcorder are you going to get one of the new video cameras such as the Lumenera,ImagingSource(DMK) or other brand.

Clear ans steady skies,

Wes Higgins
