Pushing my luck??

Mewlon 250 and Tec 140 in tandem on a Mach1?? Anyone have a feel as to how far the Mach1 can be pushed? Got called for my credit card number for the Mach1 so the moment must be soon, or should I be kicking myself foe not having sprung for a 900?

Either telescope on its own plus the associated mounting gear and camera(s), diagonals, finders, eyepieces is perfect. Together - forget it.

Even on a 900 you are going to be pushing the envelope a bit although it should be on the comfortable end of things if you figure on mounting these in tandem plus the gear to use them.

Not a chance. Based on what I've seen, the Mach1 is only adequate even for carrying a 160, in terms of pure stability. The combo you're talking about probably calls for a 1200.
