???? About Selling NEAF Items

Just a quick question for everyone........NEAF items sold at the Televue booth are considerably less then found here on Astromart. Al Nagler frowns upon reselling his NEAF seconds. I can understand if a particular item is not needed anymore, but what is your feeling if someone is found selling an item right after the event at a considerably higher price?

Thoughts???

Well, he/she is NOT breaking the law... but then again, he/she better not be selling the item at a NON-NEAF item price, and he/she better make sure to mention that this is a NEAF item... or the Astromart Gods will be coming after him/her... 8)

Just my .02 pesos, don't use them all at once! wink

I think that flipping the NEAF EPs and other things are not in line with what the NEAF is all about. But I do know that many buy them with the express purpose of reselling them for a profit. Now, it is not considered being a dealer here unless you are selling more than one of the same item. This means it is not a violation of any rules. However it is a violation of policy for the NEAF sellers and that means that those reselling them for profit are not doing the right thing. The items do belong to them though and they may do as they please I guess.

Thanks for the heads up, Jay.
A quick search for Panoptic Interface ads, will reveal that this person is not a first time offender. :C

I'm completely OK with it. Big deal if Al Nagler frowns on reselling his NEAF seconds. It's just equipment, and if buyer and seller come to agreement, then it's fine. I find it annoying when someone tries to sell something with "strings attached" - "you can only sell this if I approve it", or "you can only sell it at a certain price", or "you must sell it in a certain way".

All of this within the rules of Astromart, of course.
