That is absolutely amazing! I have never seen such detail in an image of NGC7635. I just don't know what to say -- I'm speechless!

That can't be the same Bubble we've all been aiming at all these years, right? I know I've absolutely never seen it like that before. Truly an amazing achievement!
Congrats,

Gorgeous image Roland!

The detail is remarkable and the stars so tiny!
This object really takes on a different look in your high res image,a bit eerie and ghostly.

Well, thank you all for your kind words. It was actally fun to take this image. I put it on Sequence in MaximDL and let it shoot away a series of filtered images. No clouds for once, and the seeing was quite good. Meanwhile I was inside the factory doing some final figuring on some 130 lenses.

Still , the image is not finished. Needs far more exposure in order to fill in the background, which is too noisy at this point. We don't get too many good days here for this kind of thing.

Rolando,

That is a killer image! Can I trouble you to repost but with the CHFT palette?

Amazing detail and texture.
