hi folks,

I have had a long night yesterday.
I decided to capture one of my least favourite nebulas: M1

data:
9" f/7 (with a reducer) TMB Apo
sxv h9c
AstroArt4 for image acquisition, stacking and color conversion.
postprocessing in PS CS2 and PixIS
3 hours of total exposure time.

I hoped to see more of the faint blue haze around the main nebula - but to achieve this I would have to go back again,...
no filters were used.

hope U like it!

Most people don't get any of the blue haze, Dietmar.
That's a fine image.

Dietmar,
Another excellent image--I really like the sharpness of the filaments yet the fineness of the nebulosity. Great processing! Which part of the process are you doing in Pix and which in PS? Always interested to hear about people's routines.
Thanks,
Larry

Dietmar,

Fine image! I have not noted one in the past that showed the subtle blue aspects. That's great detail. Congrats,

Kevin
