This is the crab nebula imaged late last winter, but I re-worked the data last night.
It is an (Ha+L)(Ha+R)GB image, with the Ha being combined with the L and R separately using Photoshop's lighten function, more or less as described by Russell Croman in Ron Wodaski's new book. I set the opacity of the Ha data at about 33% in each case.
I didn't check the exposure times, but the gear is:
TEC APO 140 f7 refractor
Starlight Xpress SXV-H9 monochrome camera
FLI filter wheel
AstroDon Filters
Losmandy G-11
SBIG STV Guider
Thanks for looking and thanks for any input!
