M33 from New Mexico Skies Reduced Image

Hello all! Been Lurking for a while and have seen many beautiful posts. Lots of talent in this forum. This is the reason this is my favorite website. Thank you Anacortes! And of course thank you all of you!!! Lance Frederick and I where fortunate to spend some time at New Mexico Skies a few weeks ago. During a cloudy night I learned image processing techniques from Ryan Hanahoe at NMS. It definitely is Disneyland for astronerds,myself being one. Nature nuts will be very happy here. I came face to face with a cougar at NMS. WOW!! Wonderful place!!! We spent some time imaging a few objects including M33. Takahashi FCT150 and SBIG STL 11000m and Paramount where used for this image. 45 minutes each Lum and rgb where taken. I bought the Willmann-Bell publishing Photoshop Astronomy book by R Scott Ireland and the Astronomical Image Processing Tutorials video by Donald P. Waid to help with my image techniques. Great resources in my opinion. I know I have much to learn and appreciate any advice and critiques by you all on this and any of my images. Anyway here is Lance and my latest effort. Look for the extra galaxies!! A huge image! Sorry! What is the best way to reduce an image for the web in CS2 or any other way? I am having a dumb attack!!! Or is the huge image not a worry.? Reduced image now!!! Should I return the big image? Thanks for looking!!! Ken Tydeck Mesa, AZ.

Great shot.

The way to reduce in Photoshop is: Image/image size/click all 3 boxes on the left side if not already clicked, then 800 x 600 is the usual size/enter.

Then save as a jpeg and use the slider to control the file size.
It has to be under 500kb to go on Astromart.
