Hi,

These are the last images I have from September 14, 2006, rather than string them out over a few weeks I though it would be best to show all three images in one post, hopefully I will have some new ones in a short time.

18" Reflector, Infinity 2-1 camera.

Wes, awesome lunar shots! The details and clarity of the images is amazing. You must have had some near perfect seeing that night. Thanks for posting.

Steve

Superb shots! You really have the lunar stuff nailed! BTW, I think I saw the Travelocity Gnome hiding in your Regiomontanus and Purbach image grin !

Hi Wes,

phew, superb grin I wish I would have some gems half as good in my unprocessed stuff wink
I can't say wich image I like better. Since I'm a big fan of the Copernicus area I guess it'll be the Stadius image.

Best wishes,
Oliver

Hi Wes -

I'm sorry to see the end of these September images. The last image is my favorite of this group but they are all extraordinary. We seemed to have overlapped a bunch of targets at a very similar sun angle between your September session and the good seeing I happened into in August. I have one region left to process - Pitatus. Kind of like a really good bottle of wine, it's not going to be any fun to get back to the cheap stuff!

I hope you don't have a long wait til the good seeing visits you again.

cheers-
Alan
