twenty second Mars

Hi all -

It turned out that I would only get one chance to image mars at its largest. I'm glad that I had this opportunity, even if the conditions left a lot to be desired. I will be a lot older and grayer the next time mars gets bigger than this.

cheers-
Alan

Alan,

Still very nice!! At least you'll be grayer....I'll be balder...

A wonderful result Alan. Your always able to pull the most out of your mediocre seeing. I'll be just about ready for retirement when Mars is like this again. :S

Hi Alan, still a very nice image and shows what a fine imager you are in those brief moments. regretly opposition time is too short

Thanks, all for taking the time to comment - your thoughts are much appreciated!

Superb Alan, as usual impeccable processing! I tried to get out that night too but the seeing was so bad that only the R video stream was of any use!
